Katy Perry’s face dazzled the December issue of the American Fashion magazine, Harper’s Bazaar. Katy simply did not look like Katy but more like the iconic artistic image of Marilyn Monroe, shown below:
Katy’s lips were covered in 150 Swarovski crystals for the cover, shot by Alexi Lubomirski. The close-up photo uses intertexuality as it resembles the iconic January 1950 Vogue cover, featuring Jean Patchett photographed by Erwin Blumenfeld.
